Soil water storage (SWS) data were acquired from the GLDAS Noah model simulations. The specific objectives were to provide a quantitative assessment of the SWS in the soil layer of 0-50 cm depth to detect extreme stages of SWS, and to provide an insight into the effects of precipitation deficit or surplus on the stage of SWS. Extremely low SWS was detected to occur in August 2003, July 2006, and September 2015. Contrasting high SWS stages appeared in May and June 2010, caused by excessive precipitation.}, type={Text}, title={Soil water storage in Poland over the years 2000-2015 in response to precipitation variability as retrieved from GLDAS Noah simulations}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl/igipz/Content/61910/PDF/WA51_81577_r2017-t90-no1_G-Polonica-Somorowsk.pdf}, keywords={soil water storage, variability, GLDAS Noah, Poland}, }
