In the introduction the specificity of German “Myth of the East” is described, with its role in the education of the youth in the Third Germany. In the following text the creation and the organization of the BDM-Osteinsatz in the Wartheland is presented, with the main forms of its implementation and attitudes of the BDM-members towards the Polish and Jewish population in the Wartheland.
