 abstract={The article outlines the nationalisation policy conducted by Russian and Polish authorities based on legal limitations in land ownership. The research’s subject matter includes ownership changes in the state property Dubnica between 1865 and 1939. The paper’s primary aim is to analyse the effectiveness of implementing legal provisions by the Russian and Polish authorities with a view to increasing their wealth. The author compares and evaluates meth-ods of the ownership policy conducted by both states based on trade in the Dubnica estate.},
