 abstract={The article presents the interpretation of the October Revolution made by Slavoj Žižek in his social and political writings. The thinker interprets the events of the 1917 revolution in a historiosophical context. He uses some concepts of the philosophy of history of Hegel and Marx in his deliberations. The Žižek’s interpretation is presented in five steps, which illustrate the most important elements of this concept. The article is based on the content analysis of Žižek’s main texts that include the most important considerations about the Bolshevik revolution.},
