Based on the analysis of selected publications and scholarly articles, the author reconstructs the image of Poland in the interwar period. Currently,Ukrainian historiography is going through a difficult period due to the ongoing Ukrainian-Russian war and is subjected to considerable political and social pressure. Evidently, however, Ukrainian historiography is interested in the study of Polish-Ukrainian relations, especially throughout the period of the Second Polish Republic.
