 abstract={The article portrays the Second Polish Republic as presented in contemporary Ukrainian historiography (aft er 2000). Based on the analysis of selected publications and scholarly articles, the author reconstructs the image of Poland in the interwar period. Currently,Ukrainian historiography is going through a difficult period due to the ongoing Ukrainian-Russian war and is subjected to considerable political and social pressure. Evidently, however, Ukrainian historiography is interested in the study of Polish-Ukrainian relations, especially throughout the period of the Second Polish Republic. The development of historiography in this direction aims to fill in the white gaps in the Ukrainian collective memory.},
