Abstract:

The article deals with the question of compensation for Belgian properties, rights, and interests affected by Polish nationalisation regulations. It is based on source materials previously unused by researchers and stored in Polish and Belgian archives. The article focuses primarily on explaining the role of the indemnification dispute in the Polish-Belgian relations after World War II, especially in financial ties.
