Abstract:

Studies on storage pig's liver under hypothermia during a 3-hour period at maintained perfusion with buffered and oxygenated Ringer's solution with added glucose, evidenced that as well the metabolic as well as well as the secretory function of the liver was in considerable degree preserved after the period of storage.
