 abstract={A new method is considered for the solution of the finite-part singular integro-differential equations, applied in many problems of mathematical physics and especially in elasticity and aerodynamic problems. This is obtained by reduction to a system of linear equations, by applying the singular integro-differential equation at properly selected collocation points. An application is given to the determination and solution of the generalized airfoil equation, which presents the pressure acting on a planar airfoil undergoing simple amplitude oscillations about the central plane of a two-dimensional ventilated wind tunnel.},
