Abstract:

In the paper, several variations of the Bitran-Hax method for the continuous quadratic knapsack problem are investigated. The author closes the gaps in the convergence analysis of several existing methods, and provides more efficient versions. Computational results are reported for problems with up to two million variabIes solved on a notebook PC.
