Electron microscopy analysis of the heart biopsy

Abstract:

Ultrastructural analysis revealed regular pattern of contractile apparatus in most ofcardiomyocytes but in some cardiomyocytes the contractile apparatus wascharacterized by an irregular pattern . Irregularly shaped cardiomiocytes nuclei ofcardiomyocytes were observed. In the extracellular space abundant collagenfibres were seen and numerous immunocompetent cells were present.
