Description:

Photography (scan from a slide). People do shopping at the market who live in the surrounding villages (Chakar, Kotra). Among them four women in long dark veils to the ground. Long black wool veils with a pattern of red dots or sewn applications - typical attire for women rabari kachchi group. Two men in white clothes - rabari - including one in a purple turban - belonging to the kachchi rabari. Besides them villagers, sales of fruit (bananas, apples), peanuts, sugar cane. Market at the entrance to the temple of Mata Mommai on a hill on the occasion of the feast. Date of the feast falls on the seventh day of the bright half of the month Aso (Aso Sud 7), which falls out usually in late September or October. Temple of the Goddess is on a hill and unites multi-caste residents of neighboring villages (one of the main temples of Hothi Rajputs of Mota Bandra In the valley temple of the goddess caste of rabari shepherds in which holidays are celebrated on the same day but at dusk
