Object description:

Małe szydło - Stary Brześć /Kolonia/ gm. Brześć Kujawski, pow. Włocławek. Do analizy pobrano jedną próbkę: CL-572

Method of analysis:

Wstępne szlifowanie odbywało się na papierach karborundowych o ziarnistości 220, 320, 400 i 600 na mokro, następnie próbki wypolerowano w zwykły sposób na filcu za pomocą tlenku glinu. Próbki trawiono odczynnikiem składającym się z: 1 cz.25% NH3 + 1 cz.3% H202. Stosowano trawienie przez pocieranie w czasie od 3 do 15 sek.

Próbka CL - 572 - W stanie nietrawionym obserwuje się dość znaczną ilość drobnych porów powstałych na skutek wykruszania się wtrąceń niemetalicznych oraz tlenków miedzi. Po wytrawieniu stwierdzono strukturę bardzo drobno ziarnistą o ziarnie zgniecionym. Przedmiot wykonano na drodze kucia na zimno
