Abstract:

Effect of pH and temperature on biosynthesis of subtilisin, metalloproteinase, a-amylase andlipase by B. subtilis lBTC-3 were studied. The optimum temperatures for production of subtilisin, metalloproteinase and a-amylase or lipase were 30°C, 27°C and 33°C respectively. The optimumtemperature for growth of bacteria was estimated to be 33°C. The optimum pH for productionof subtilisin and lipase was 8,5, for metalloproteinase it was around 6,0. The highest productionof a-amylase and growth of bacterium was observed at pH around 7,0. The meehanism ofproteinases biosynthesis by pH regulation was studied. The maintenanee of pH of the mediumon the same level did not cause an inerease in proteinases production.
