Wyprawa botaniczna prof. Kazimierza Browicza na dwie wyspy Cykladów - Milos i Kimolos w dniach od 10 maja do 5 czerwca 1996 roku. Prof. Browicz prowadził poszukiwania terenowe poświęcone występowaniu drzew i krzewów. Na Milos badacz stwierdził występowanie 66 gatunków dziko rosnących drzew i krzewów, w tym 23 to gatunki nowe dla wyspy. Roślinność naturalna północnej części wyspy jest w znacznym stopniu zniszczona i spotkać można tam jedynie fragmenty ubogiej frygany. Natomiast południe wyspy, które jest prawie bezludne, porośnięte jest typową fryganą. Brak jest zupełnie lasów, a makia w zasadzie występuje jedynie u podnóży góry Profitis Ilias. Na wyspie Kimolos spotkać można w zasadzie tylko gatunki typowe dla ubogiej frygany. Badacz odnotował 28 gatunków drzew i krzewów dziko rosnących, z których połowa to gatunki nowe dla wyspy. Prof. Browicz opracowal także dwie listy taksonów uprawianych: 51 taksonów na Melos i 35 na Kimolos.
