Most of species are cold\-adapted members of mammoth fauna from the Late Pleistocene, such as Ursus arctos priscus, Mammuthus primigenius, Coelodonta antiquitatis, Equus ferus, Rangifer tarandus, and Bison priscus. The few species like Ursus arctos taubachensis, Palaeoloxodon antiquus and Stephanorhinus kirchbergensis represent an older, thermophilic fauna dated to MIS 5e. The vast majority of bones are accidental finds, without a stratigraphic context.
