Festival lasts for about 40 days and takes place during the rainy season. Every day a group of men from the tribe dancing in the next village. Culminating holiday in this region is in the suburbs of Udaipur and there are a few hours of dancing and playing a scene from tribal mythology, the most of them connected with life of a deity Rai Budiya. At the end of the procession holy figure of the goddess Gauri is thrown into the water. In the picture one of the actors\-participants in the ceremony. In the foreground a group of actors play a scenes from Bhil mythology \- one of the actors playing the goddess Gauri figure with a sword and peacock feathers, and the second the horse tiger. Before them, there is another actor who plays the goddess Amba, his face painted in black, and the sword and the cup. It is a story showing scenes from mythology, of the Bhil tribe. On the right side are sitting a group of elders around the fire burning in the center on the time of the ceremony. Next to them stand the actors who plays female roles, and drummer.
