Object description:

Fragment szpili - Galowice pow. Wrocław. Do analizy pobrano jedną próbkę: CL-1184

Method of analysis:

Wstępne szlifowanie odbywało się na papierach karborundowych o ziarnistości 220, 320, 400 i 600 na mokro, następnie próbki wypolerowano w zwykły sposób na filcu za pomocą tlenku glinu. Próbki trawiono odczynnikiem składającym się z: 1 cz.25% NH3 + 1 cz.3% H202. Stosowano trawienie przez pocieranie w czasie od 3 do 15 sek.

Results:

Próbka CL - 1184 - W stanie niatrawionym obserwuje się /w próbce szerszej/ silnie rozwiniętą korozję z tlenkami pochodzenia prawdopodobnie korozyjnego. W drugiej próbce /węższej/ dużą ilość siarczków miedzi o ułożeniu równomiernym. Po wytrawianiu stwierdzono budowę krystaliczną z liniami poślizgów w obrębie ziarn. Twardość: 103 HV 0,15. Przedmiot wykonano prawdopodobnie na drodze kucia na gorąco
