Electron microscopy analysis of the heart biopsy

Abstract:

Ultrastructur alanalysis revealed changed sarcomere pattern, disorganization of myofibrils and in many areas ,especially in the nuclei vicinity ,their complete atrophy. Cardiomyocyte nuclei were abnormally shaped,nuclear envelope was corrugated ,with numerous indentations (Figs. 1-5).
