Opis:

Photography (scan from a slide). The village of shepherds kachchi rabari with preserved traditional huts (bhunga). Cottage built on a circular plan with a wooden pin posed in the middle. The walls are built of clay and thatch roof. In the past, the shepherds rabari built their settlements outside the village. In the picture are visible shrines that are put outside the village, at which the shepherds celebrate night ceremonies. In a separate space on the circle plan are set five stones with Hindu trident (trishula) signs and with them can be seen the remains of incense. Each of them refers to a different deity. This is an older form of worship of the shepherds. On the right side can be seen fragment of a rectangular shrines, often encountered in shepherds. On the ground lie the remains of earthen pitchers and colorful fabrics - remains of the celebrated rituals
