The photo depicts a newlywed couple: a woman in a white dress with a veil and with a flower bouquet in her hand and a man in a suit with a white bowtie and gloves. Around them there are wedding guests in festive clothes and some children. In the back row on the right there are musicians with musical instruments. One of them is playing a special “wedding” type of bagpipe. According to its owner, the photo depicts her grandmother’s wedding – Anna (...) and Jan (...)’s on 21. 02. 1930. They got married in the parish church in Zbąszyń. There was a music band playing at the wedding, including a folk musician Tomasz – the family’s neighbour – who played the bagpipe ; 21st February 1930, Zbąszyń ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
