The photo depicts a tall man in a hat and work clothes in front of a thatched stone building. The photo is of a very poor quality. On the back of the photo there is the following inscription: "1 .Photo dated July 1930; 2. A village farmer /Jan (...)/ in front of a smithy /Cecylia's (...) father/; 3. Taken by Wł. (...); 4. Taken in the village of Lgota Wielka, Miechów district ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
