The photograph shows the family with many children posing for photos in festive costumes in a garden. The photograph was taken at the beginning of the 20th century, as can be judged by the clothes in which they are dressed. In the middle there is a round table covered with a white, lace tablecloth . On the two sides of it sit a woman with a boy on her knees and an upright man in a dark suit with a mustache , on his lap sits about 10 -year-old boy in a white clothes . On the right of this man is an another boy , about 12 years old , in a white blouse with a dark bow and a cap on his head . On the left side of the seated woman is about 10 -year-old smiling girl in a white dress. Behind her stands a middle-aged man in a gray suit and a white shirt with a raised collar and with a mustache. Beside him is a teenage girl, a middle-aged woman and another two young women . Adults hold in their hands the glass with a dark liquid. Family gives the impression of a wealth ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
