The photo shows two women and a man sitting on a chair and holding a boy on his lap. A big house covered with ivy is visible in the background. There is an inscription on the back of the photo: “the sister-in-law, brother-in-law with son, neighbor, 1927 in Halle, they live there to this day, Germany GDR”; 1927, Germany, Halle ; The photo sent to the contest “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly „Nowa Wieś” (New village). The copy of the photo in the possession of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute of the History of Material Culture)
