The photo depicts a group of smiling girls posing for the photo on grass under a tree. A young woman in the middle is holding some flowers on her knees, girls behind her are also holding a bunch of flowers. There is an inscription underneath the photo: “We are like one big family”. Written at the back of the photo there are the following words: “Pułtusk 22.V.1946. A memento of our nice time together spent in the 2nd grade; we took this group photo on our beloved tutoress Ms. Hala’s (…) name day”. According to its owner, the photo depicts her mother Janina (…) with her class 2nd A of the Secondary School in Pułtusk. The photo was taken for the tutoress teacher on her name day but for some reason never reached her. Unknown photographer ; May 22nd 1946 r., Pułtusk ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
