The photograph shows a group of soldiers at work. In the middle between them can be seen a high mast, probably a part of a crane and on the ground there are wooden beams. In the foreground stands a man in a sheepskin coat and a cap, probably an officer managing the work. A river visible in the background may be an evidence of a prepared construction of a crossing or a bridge.
